A bit about your host!

Homecraft Beer & Wine

Homecraft Brew & Wine Supplies was founded in 1981 by Marven Veinot, bringing his brewing expertise over from Labatt’s Breweries upon retirement. Operations began on Wellington Street, in the Kingston downtown core.

As Kingston and its surrounding area grew, so did business. Joseph Sulley, recently retired from the Canadian Armed Forces, joined in and Homecraft opened their second store in the Kingston Township.

During the late ’80’s several changes took place. Marven left. The downtown store closed. And, in 1991, the big recession set in. That’s when the growth in this industry began, and has ballooned to it’s huge presence today. Homecraft is located at 2787 Princess Street, in the Woodbine Plaza, Kingston, Ontario.

Since 1991, Homecraft has grown to become the largest retail home wine & beer store in Kingston!
