Virtual Yoga (Wellness)

 

Join the Sport & Social Club in this NEW 4-week virtual live Classic Hatha Yoga class. Whether you're looking to improve your mind-body wellness, or enhance your flexibility and balance, self-care in all its forms is vital. This class is accessible to all levels.

Classic Hatha Yoga focuses on the basics of alignment and the evolution of strength and balance. Focus on breathing, relaxation, balance, strength and stretch. Switch up your routine and dedicate yourself 60 minutes of wellness and self-care with yoga.

This virtual Hatha yoga class will be led by NESTA Certified Sport Yoga Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer, Mary Anne Ross (see Sport Info Tab for more information).

All you need is a wi-fi enabled device, access to Zoom and of course, your own space to flow.

Class Times

The live virtual class times will be:  6:00pm EST.

Each class is 1 hour in length.

Participants are asked to join the zoom "waiting room" at least 5 minutes early to allow for a prompt class start.
Price

Individual Registration: $55.00 + HST.

Schedule

A Welcome Letter, with a zoom link and any other information will be provided 2 days prior to the first class.

About your Instructor

Mary Anne is a NESTA Certified Sport Yoga Instructor (YI) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). Over the last 30 years, Mary Anne has been teaching, learning, and sharing her passion for wellness through yoga. She has taught yoga internationally in Italy, Greece, and more recently, privately in client's homes.

Participant Conduct & Sportsmanship Expectations

 All participants are expected to follow SSC sportsmanship expectations. Any unsportsmanlike conduct may result in immediate expulsion from the class. 

The following actions are prohibited:
  • All elements of verbal abuse; harassing, threatening, bullying, or doing anything else to another members that is unwanted.
  • Making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc.

Equipment
Participants are required to have the following:
  • Laptop, tablet, or mobile device
  • Access to the internet
  • Sufficient space to move
  • Yoga mat is highly recommended

 

Rules

It is the responsibility of all participants to read and understand all Sport & Social Club general rules & club policies.

Location

All classes will be held virtually over Zoom. Participants will receive a link to join the Zoom call in advance. Requirements include: access to an internet connection and Zoom on a computer or an alternative device.
