All-Sorts-of-TURF-Sports - League of Legends (35 years +)

Introducing... League of Legends for those 35 years or older! 


The primary focus of this league is to bring Kingston sport enthusiasts together to meet new people at a similar stage of life. Only two requirements - have fun and 80% of your team must be 35 years or older to participate!


The All-Sorts-of-Sports league is a perfect way to play all 4 of your favourite sports! Each week offers you a rotation of Soccer 7's, Ultimate 6's, Flag Football 6's and Kickball!


Gather up a team of friends, or register as an individual and we'll put you on a team with other individuals!



All participants must adhere to physical distancing procedures and other safety protocols when on site. 


Due to the Provincial lockdown, the Winter 2021 season may start later than anticipated.

However, once the Province announces a confirmed date to return to sports, Winter 2021 programs will commence and start/end dates will be updated.

In the meantime, registration remains open.

COVID-19 Protocol & Safe Return

To ensure player and staff safety, we have implemented mandatory 'Safe Return to Play Protocol & Guidelines' for all Club Activities.  In order to play with the Kingston Sport & Social Club and stay in good standing, the following guidelines MUST be followed.  A zero-tolerance policy is in place for those who challenge these decisions.   


To ensure a successful season, please remember to practice safe physical distancing and a positive attitude!

Rotating start times between 7:00pm and 9:00pm.


Game length is 55 minutes.


Note: Every effort is made to equalize the start times and game locations across the league.

Registration Options & Price

Team registration: $1925 + HST. 

After checkout, send your teammates roster invites through the website (under "My Team" player list) so they can accept the waiver and access the schedule and standings once it is posted.  


Individual registration: $190 + HST.

Bye Dates

There are no bye dates.

Depending on closures and/or cancelled games, make up games will be played on another day of the week other than your regularly scheduled games (pending field availability).  Every effort is made to provide significant notice of a make-up game.  View our foul weather and game cancellation policy here

Rosters & Schedule

Individual team rosters and schedules will be posted online two days before your league starts.

Mandatory Roster Requirements

COVID-19 LEAGUE MODIFICATIONS - Each sport has specific mandatory roster requirements. 



  • 12 players maximum on roster per team.
  • 4 teams maximum per league (tier).
  • 48 participants maximum per league (tier).


1) No substitute players allowed outside of your 12-player roster maximum (unless from the same league and tier).


2) All players on your team are required to sign the waiver and show on your Team's roster online. 


3) Game day wellness checks “COVID-19 Self Screening” must be completed by all players prior to participation.


4) Players must maintain physical distancing of 2-meters before and after all activities.  This includes arriving on-site, resting/sitting on the sidelines, and departing the game.


5) No Spectators are allowed under any circumstance (this includes kids, family, etc).

Team Safety Ambassador (TSA)

COVID-19 LEAGUE MODIFICATIONS - All teams must assign a Team Safety Ambassador (TSA) for the season. 

The TSA must be a registered player and identified using the “TSA” label in your online roster.

TSA Role: 

  • Watch a pre-season Safe Return to Play training video.
  • Keep a record of attendance at each game.  This record may be called upon for contact tracing. 
  • Ensure individual wellness checks “COVID-19 Self Screening” are completed by each player prior to each game.
  • Ask players to leave the game if they arrive showing symptoms of cold or flu.
  • Ensure physical distancing measures are enforced by your team.  Physical distancing of two meters is mandatory when players are arriving on-site, playing the sport, resting/sitting on the sidelines, and departing the game.
  • Sport-specific rules may adjust physical distancing measures taken on the playing surface.
  • Players must always stay within their designated bench or standing area while not on the playing surface.
  • Ensure your team follows posted ENTER / EXIT signage at facilities (controlled traffic flow).
  • Remind all players to arrive on time and leave immediately after the game is over.
  • Ensure your team is following the equipment sanitization requirements for your sport.
  • Ensure all players have read and understand mandatory Club COVID-19 Protocols.


All equipment will be provided for each sport at the game location. Equipment will be sanitized before and after each new set or game. 

Please bring a dark and light shirt each week as pinnies will not be provided. This will help distinguish your teammates every week.


NEW League Modifications

COVID-19 LEAGUE MODIFICATIONS - Returning to league sports this season will be a unique experience. As part of our "Safe Return to Play" format, we are focusing on the safety of our staff and players and leaning into the FUN and SOCIAL aspects of our leagues!

  • Leagues will be played “for fun” with no playoffs.  Scores and standings will still appear on our website.
  • No prizing or trophies will be awarded. 
  • Leagues will be played in smaller Tiers to ensure limited contact with opponents throughout the season.  Tiers will be determined based on skill rankings (at registration) and past league results.
  • Each Tier will be confined to a limited number of facilities.  You will play at consistent location(s) throughout the season. Please note, we are unable to accommodate or make facility changes based on individual requests this season. 
  • All leagues will have an even number of teams to avoid double-header play. 
  • Game times will be staggered by a minimum of 10 minutes across all sports leagues to ensure safe traffic flow.
  • Players are asked to compete with a “Play On” mentality.  No arguing or disputing calls made during the game. 


COVID-19 RULE MODIFICATIONS - Please refer to the sport rules page to view league rules.  It is the responsibility of all players to read and understand the sport specific rules as well as the general rules & club policies.

Modified Score & Spirit Point Reporting

About Spirit Points: Spirit points are awarded to a team from their opponent after each game to encourage sportsmanship, honesty, integrity and fair play.  For more information and how to properly award spirit points, please see our section ‘All About Spirit Points.’


All games will be played at the Kingston 1000 Islands Sportsplex (1485 Westbrook Rd).

General Protocol:

  • Bring and use your own antibacterial hand sanitizer regularly throughout the game.
  • All players must wear a mask during your arrival/departure from the facility, and when not playing. You are not required to wear a mask while playing sport, however, players who wish to wear a mask during play are permitted to do so.
  • Players must complete all requirements of being added to the team roster, including accepting the official SSC waiver and agree to the “Safe Return to Play Guidelines” before participating.  All players must be 19 years of age or older – no exceptions.
  • Game day wellness checks “COVID-19 Self Screening” must be completed by all players prior to participation.
  • Players must maintain physical distancing of 2-meters before and after all activities.  This includes arriving on-site, resting/sitting on the sidelines, and departing the game.

Facility Protocol:

  • All facility staff will be wearing required PPE equipment.
  • Players will enter through the main door at a specified time.  Sanitizer will be available to be used by all players entering the building. The turnstile door on the north-end of the building will only be used for entering the playing space.  Players will follow the directional signage to the field of play (according to your league schedule). 
  • Directly after the game, players will exit the facility through the side doors on the east side of the building to the parking lot.
  • All traffic flow is one-way.
  • All entrance/exit door surfaces (touchpoints) will be sanitized between every set of games.
  • Between each field (where the mesh curtain has been in the past) will now be a non-permeable partition. The height of the partition will be above the breathing zone of individuals to prevent spread of droplets expired by patrons. The partition will be sanitized after every grouping of games.
  • The turf playing surface (field) will be commercially sanitized before and after every grouping of games.
  • Game times will be staggered to ensure spacing for players arriving and departing.
  • Players should come dressed and ready to play. Changerooms will not be available.
  • Washrooms will be available onsite.
  • Ample parking is available directly outside the dome.
  • Only water is allowed in the dome (no food or sport drinks).

Facility Air Quality:

The following information is provided by the dome manufacturer (Farley Group) supported by Gerald N. Catt, P. Eng. BDS GSC.

  • The indoor air quality in Air Supported Structures resembles outdoor conditions. A typical dome contains 500,000 to 5,000,000 cubic feet of air. A normal 20’ x 30’ classroom contains 6,000 cubic feet of air.
  • Air Supported Structures have a typical fresh air turn over from 1.5 to 3 hours. 666,666 to 3,333,333 cubic feet of air per hour. The air holding up the dome structure is always escaping, requiring replacement air to continue holding up the structure.
  • Air Supported Structures are ideal indoor settings for preventing the spread of Covid-19.
