Come and enjoy THE ULTIMATE GAME and play on Kingston's best turf fields!

 

*NEW* for Sprummer 2020, we've added a Thursday league!

 

A co-ed sport of fun and spirit, the game of Ultimate is throwing a frisbee at the next level. Incorporating elements of basketball, football and soccer, you will enjoy Ultimate more than you ever thought!

 

Our 5-on-5 league ensures players get a lot of action on the field.  The game is suitable for all people of all levels and abilities -- If you’ve ever thrown a frisbee, then you are ready to play Ultimate! 

 

Session 1 registration deadline is Thursday, April 23 at midnight!

Session 2 registration deadline is Thursday, June 25 @ midnight!



Sprummer 2020 Details: 

Start / End Dates

Monday: Starts Monday, May 11 and ends Monday, August 10.

 

Thursday Session 1: Starts Thursday, May 14 and ends Thursday, July 2.

 

Thursday Session 2: Starts Thursday, July 9 and ends Thursday, August 27.

# of Weeks

Monday Leagues are 14 weeks (12 regular season games + 2 playoff games).

 

Thursday Sessions 1 & 2 are 8 weeks (6 regular season games + 2 playoff games).

Estimated Game Times

Game times may rotate between 6:00pm, 7:00pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:00pm.

 

Game length is 90 minutes.

 

Please note: Every effort is made to equalize the start times across the league.

Registration Options and Price

Monday Team registration: $910 + HST. 

Thursday Session 1 & Session 2 Team registration: $465 + HST. 


After checkout, send your teammates roster invites through the website (under "My Team" player list) so they can accept the waiver and access the schedule and standings once it is posted.   

 

Monday Individual registration: $125 + HST. 

Thursday Session 1 & Session 2 Individual registration: $65 + HST. 

 

You will be placed on a roster of individuals by end of day Tuesday, May 5. For ease of communication with our office, teams must select a captain and co-captain on our website to represent your individuals team. Click here to learn more about Individual teams.

Meet & Greet and Equipment Pick-Up

SAVE THE DATE: Sprummer 2020 Meet & Greet + Equipment Pick-Up! 

 

Each season we host an event for individual registrants to meet their teammates before the season begins.  This event is also for team captains looking to rent and/or pick-up equipment for the season.

Individual Registrants: Please attend the night that corresponds to the sport that you registered for!  If you registered for multiple sports, please attend both events. Click here for more information.

  • Wednesday, May 6th: Softball, Ultimate, Flag Football, Basketball, Floor Hockey and Court Volleyball.
  • Thursday, May 7th: Beach Volleyball, Turf Soccer 7’s, All-Sorts-of-Sports (Classic, League of Legends and Pub Social).

Location & Time:

Tir Nan Og Pub – 200 Ontario Street

  • 7:00pm - Individuals Meet & Greet.  Decide on a team name, captain, jersey colour, organize equipment requirements and pick-up your newsletter & member key tag.
  • 8:00pm-10:00pm - Team Captains Drop-In.  Swing by anytime between 8pm-10pm and pick up your equipment, newsletter & member key tags for your whole team. Equipment for all sports will be available on both evenings.

What you need to know about Ultimate!  


# of People on Field

5 players (minimum 2 males and 2 females).

Suggested Roster

7-10 players. 

Equipment

Teams are required to bring their own ultimate disc and 5 pylons to every game. Equipment will not be provided on-site. 

 

If you do not want to bring your own, ultimate disc's and pylons are available to rent from KSSC.  A $25 refundable deposit is required and payable with credit card, cheque or through the website during online registration (in shopping cart).  Equipment will be available to pick-up at the Meet & Greet event.

Rules

Please refer to the sport rules page to view league rules.  It is the responsibility of all players to read and understand the sport specific rules as well as the general rules & club policies.

Score & Spirit Point Reporting

  • Game Scores (account for 75% of total points): Team captains are responsible for reporting the scores after your game by logging into your player profile and clicking on ‘My Team’ tab and selecting ‘Report Score/Spirit Points’.  Teams have a 48 hour window to report scores after the completion of the game.  Please be timely with your score reporting so league standings can remain updated for playoff positioning.

Spirit Points (account for 25% of total points): Spirit points are awarded to a team from their opponent after each game to encourage sportsmanship, honesty, integrity and fair play.  For more information and how to properly award spirit points, please see our section ‘All About Spirit Points’.

Games will be played primarily at the following locations:

  • Nixon Field - Mondays & Thursdays
  • Caraco Field - Mondays

Nixon Field in the heart of Queen's University Campus. 

Caraco Field - Invista Centre (west-end Kingston)
