Wine Making Workshop *NEW*

 

Learn to make wine in this fun and social workshop!

 

Homecraft Brew & Wine offers an Intro to Wine Making workshop for home wine makers seeking to eliminate the guesswork of beginning the hobby.  

 

 Learn how to craft small lots (2½ cases) of your favorite style of premium wine right in the comfort of your own home, while enjoying various samples, and learning tips and tricks to make your own wine absolutely delicious from the very first time around.


During the course of the two hour class, your instructor will guide participants through the process of making your own wine. Basic techniques, tips and tricks, and details about the ingredients used in the kit wine-making process will be demonstrated.

Individual registration: $30 + HST.

Equipment

All equipment will be provided on-site.  

 

Following the completion of the course, all participant will receive 10% discount which is applicable to equipment kits and ingredient kits.

A bit about your host!

Homecraft Beer & Wine

Homecraft Brew & Wine Supplies was founded in 1981 by Marven Veinot, bringing his brewing expertise over from Labatt’s Breweries upon retirement. Operations began on Wellington Street, in the Kingston downtown core.

 

As Kingston and its surrounding area grew, so did business. Joseph Sulley, recently retired from the Canadian Armed Forces, joined in and Homecraft opened their second store in the Kingston Township.

 

During the late ’80’s several changes took place. Marven left. The downtown store closed. And, in 1991, the big recession set in. That’s when the growth in this industry began, and has ballooned to it’s huge presence today. Homecraft is located at 2787 Princess Street, in the Woodbine Plaza, Kingston, Ontario.

 

Since 1991, Homecraft has grown to become the largest retail home wine & beer store in Kingston!
