All-Sorts-of-Sports - League of Legends (35 years +) *NEW*

Introducing... League of Legends for theose 35 years or older! 

 

 We are excited to introduce this *NEW* league to our community! 

 

The primary focus of this league is to bring Kingston sport enthusiasts together to meet new people at a similar stage of life. Only two requirements - have fun and 80% of your team must be 35 years or older to participate!

 

The All-Sorts-of-Sports league is a perfect way to play all 4 of your favourite sports! Each week offers you a rotation of Court Volleyball, Basketball, Floor Hockey and Futsal (indoor soccer)!

 

Variety IS the spice of life!

 

 


Winter 2020 Details: 

Start / End Dates

Thursday: Starts Thursday, January 16 and ends Thursday, April 9

# of Weeks

12 weeks (10 week regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs).

Estimated Game Times

Rotating start times of 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm.

 

Game length is 55 minutes.

 

Note: Every effort is made to equalize the start times and game locations across the league.

Registration Options & Price

Team registration: $650 + HST. 

After checkout, send your teammates roster invites through the website (under "My Team" player list) so they can accept the waiver and access the schedule and standings once it is posted.  

 

Individual registration: $110 + HST. 

You will be placed on a roster of individuals by end of day Tuesday, January 7. For ease of communication with our office, teams must select a captain and co-captain on our website to represent your individuals team. Click here to learn more about Individual teams.

Don Cherry’s Sports Grill – 692 Princess Street

  • 7:00pm – Individual Registrants Meet & Greet.  Meet your teammates and decide on a team name, captain, jersey colour, organize equipment requirements and pick-up your newsletter & member key tag.
  • 8:00pm-10:00pm - Team Captains Drop-In.  Team captains can drop by between 8pm-10pm and pick up your team captain handbook, member key tags and equipment (if required).  See 'Sport Info' tab for equipment requirements.

Drop-In programs and Class registrants are not required to attend. All league information will be provided at your first game/class

*Please refer to each respective sport league for rules associated with each sport. Teams are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with the rules for each sport.

All equipment is provided for teams at each All Sorts of Sports game.

FALL and WINTER 

SPIRIT POINTS: An integral part of all the sports that the Kingston Sport & Social Club offers. It is based on the primary focus of the KSSC, which is sportsmanship and to have FUN...NOT on competitive and aggressive sport.

Location

All KSSC games will be played within a 20km radius of the downtown core.

All-Sorts-of-Sports facilities include (but not limited to): 

  • Artillery Park Gym (382 Bagot Street)
