What you need to know about Spikeball!

Mandatory Roster Requirements

COVID-19 LEAGUE MODIFICATIONS - Each sport has specific mandatory roster requirements. 

 

Spikeball: 

  • 3 players maximum on roster per team.  Teams are not permitted to exceed the maximum roster size.

All players on your team are required to sign the waiver and must show on your team's roster online. 

No substitutes allowed outside your roster (unless from the same league and tier).

Equipment

Teams are required to bring their own spikeball net and ball to every game. Equipment will not be provided on-site. 

 

If a team requires equipment, a Spikeball kit is available to rent from KSSC.  The kit includes, one net, 2 balls and a travel bag. A $150 refundable deposit is required and payable with credit card, cheque or through the website during online registration (in shopping cart).  Equipment will be available to pick-up at the Meet & Greet event.

Teams are required to wash/sanitize the equipment before and after the game.  Do not share your game ball with other teams.

NEW League Modifications

As part of our "Safe Return to Play" format, we are focusing on safety and taking precautions to ensure you and your team feel comfortable playing with us.

  • There will not be trophies or prizing this season, however, leagues will have playoffs, scores, and standings.
  • Leagues will be played in smaller Tiers to ensure limited contact with opponents throughout the season.  Tiers will be determined based on skill rankings (at registration) and past league results.
  • Each Tier will be confined to a limited number of facilities.  You will play at consistent location(s) throughout the season. Please note, we are unable to accommodate or make facility changes based on individual requests this season.
  • Players are asked to compete with a “Play On” mentality.  No arguing or disputing calls made during the game.

Modified Score & Spirit Point Reporting

  • There will not be trophies or prizing this season, however, leagues will have playoffs, scores, and standings.
  • The “Spirit Score” system for Teams is still in place to share recognition or concerns with us.
